Jonathon Keene is an estate planning and probate attorney based in Orlando, FL. With nearly ten years of experience in these areas of the law, it is his mission to make estate planning easy to understand for any client, and to ensure that anybody seeking assistance will receive the appropriate representation, even if it means making a trustworthy referral to another attorney.
Born on Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska, Jonathon's family made their way to Orlando in 1982. He has been a proud Floridian for over 40 years, and having spent a few years in the lovely state of Iowa and enduring their unique winters, he is prepared to never give up residence in his beloved Sunshine State again.
Jonathon is a graduate of the University of Central Florida (UCF!) where he received his BA in Humanities, and he remains a loyal supporter of the Knights in all areas, both academic and athletic.
He received his JD in 2015 from the Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, and has been a sworn member of the Florida Bar since 2016.
In 2020, Jonathon was fortunate enough to receive an opportunity to return to his legal alma mater where he continues his work today as an adjunct professor teaching wills, trusts, and estates to the next generation of estate planners, as well as serving full-time as the director of the Center for Earth Jurisprudence, a legal non-profit with a focus on earth centered legal solutions for a myriad of environmental concerns.
